Celebration of Life Ministry

Ministry with a difference you’ll enjoy

I am a Universalist Minister and have been involved in “spiritual” work for many years now, and although my main ministry is funeral and bereavement work. Over the last 8 years, I have experienced the fact that many people have pulled away from the ‘church’ and desire to have a ceremony with little or no religion. I have found though that the majority of families do request a prayer or a hymn or a reading or religious song to be included in the ceremony and I have no problem with this whatsoever.

The most important thing for me is that I put others first, and make them feel special and at ease for we all have a right to be loved and a right to be seen to be special and I hope my ministry helps in a small way to realise that end.

I was born on St. Georges Day 1958 in Canterbury and have always been interested in all kinds of religions around the world and have practiced many whilst searching for the path. Over the years I learned that it’s what inside that counts and “how much do we love?”

I am single and live in Faversham, Kent. I was ordained in April 2007 as an independent minister with the Society for Independent Christian Ministry. I am a member of the A.O.I.C. (Association of Independent Celebrants) which I joined a year after.

I joined the Universal Life Church a year ago and, more recently, the Church of Spiritual Humanism (both organisations with clergy / ministers in this country, and throughout the world).

I am also a member of the S.W.A. (Spiritual Workers Association) and Links Clan Healers. Although my ministry takes up a lot of my time, I also work in the field of natural healing, and practice “sound healing.” I am a member of the S.H.A. (Sound Healers Association) and with initial training from Jonathan Goldman in the use of specially created “Sacred Sound” tuning forks I have had some wonderful results on one-to-one treatments. I am a certificated “Spiritual Healer” as a member of the H.P.A.I. (Healer Practitioner Association International). Along with these, I am a practitioner and founder of the complementary therapy AuraGenics™ and also work with crystal, colour and light therapies along with massage to help the body re-balance and subsequently the healing process itself.

In addition to my other activities, I am also interested in Astronomy, PowerKite Flying, Camping, the Internet and music with many different styles, though I tend to lean towards such artistes as Jonathan Goldman, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Josh Groban and others.
